Story of 333 - April 2009

About a year ago I began reading The Exorcist as I was going to bed. Now, I realize that's not exactly the best way to begin the night, but I needed something to read and my roommate happened to have just finished it. Oldie, but goodie. That same night, I woke up to find my alarm clock blinking 3:33 am. I woke up for absolutely no reason.

It happened two more times that week, 3:33 am. Or I would wake up and go to the bathroom and come back to find it at 3:33 am. I started seeing it during the daytime as well even on the  crosswalks as I was crossing the street.

It has been a year now, and I still see it everywhere. I can say, though, that the initial panic that comes from something so unfamiliar as being stalked by a number has long passed, and now it is almost a comfort. I will say that before that, I was never a numbers girl. I majored in History, love art,  photography and absolutely abhor science and technology and pretty much all math. I see numbers everywhere now, I add them up, subtract them, divide, re-arrange. It's really strange.

I figure if it is meant to mean something, I'll know when it comes up. But in the meantime, 3:33 is my ever-constant, stalking shadow.

Story 333 - Feb 2009

Beginning in early 2006 I began seeing 3:33 on clocks on a regular basis. At one point I was waking up to see 3:33 on my alarm clock at least once per week, sometimes several times per week. I would not have given this any notice had it not been the  circumstances. There is something odd about waking up for no apparent reason and glancing at the alarm clock as it reads 3:33. Over and over again. During the height of this, I was also seeing 3:33 quite often on my computer clock at work. The "daytime"
sightings I chocked up to the fact that 3:33 may have been on my mind so much from the early morning sightings.

If that weren't strange enough, out of the blue my sister brought up that she was seeing recurring numbers. I don't believe I ever mentioned my experiences prior to the subject coming up. I don't know if she still experiences this but I've been mostly free of this for the past year and haven't awaken to 3:33 for quite some time. It seems it happened for awhile and now it has stopped.

At no point did I try to look for this number. Each case was purely "coincidental" if you will. I try not to read too much into all of this. What I can say for sure, however, is that I kept seeing 3:33 often enough to take notice.
