Well, it seems kinda silly to start off, but it gets interesting.
I love the game Halo, and at the end of Halo 2, you find out that John( the Master chiefs ) code number is 117, therefore Spartan 117 ( because he is a Spartan Warrior) When i found this out i loved it, and not to long afterwards, started playing a game called Run Escape, and i called myself Tycoon 117 ( because Spartan 117 was taken, and thought Tycoon was cool ).
About 9 months later I stopped playing Run Escape, and about 6 months after that, it just happened...The number 117 was following me! These are some of the places i saw it:
- I was playing a game called Box Head on the internet, when i finished the level, I had 117 ammo left in my oozy Gun.
- I went on You-Tube to watch a video that my friend said was really great, it lasted 01:17.
- I was in a math lesson, and we were working from text books, the page number was 117, the next day in math, we were working on angles, and the teacher gave us an example on the bored of an angle, at 117 degrees.
- In geography when we were working from text books the page number was 117
- I got a new SIM card, the last three numbers were 117.
- I won a battle on a game called age of empires, the number of people that survived on my side was 117
- I saw it on a 24 hour digital clock.
- I was doing Shot put in P.E at school, I got 11.7 meters, and, this also happened with the triple Jump.
That happened within the space of about 5-7 days, and constantly kept happening from then, so then, I decided that i would constantly look for the number, and didn't see it once. After a while of keeping my eye out for it ( about a fortnight ) I gave up, and as soon as i stopped looking for it, it started showing again.
I then did some research on the computer, I typed in 117 on Google, and it brought me to a site about the number 117. The page was about " John " the Baptist, from the bible, in chapter " 11 vs 7 "!... 117!
I don't know why this happens, I saw on another site that people have recurring numbers, because everyday we see more that 1000 numbers, and in a single day a certain number shows up more than once, and therefore always notice it, but I disproved that by trying to look for the number 117 for a fortnight, only when my back is turned does the three digits arrange themselves in my view.
